Cocklakes is a relatively new and easily accessible fishery in a very scenic location just off the A66 midway between Keswick and Penrith. The three acre water is regularly stocked with rainbow trout and the excellent fish stocks and open banks make it an ideal venue for new anglers or for those with limited time. A full range of permit options are on offer and Cocklakes is one of the few local fisheries where visitors are able to hire tackle. Instruction can also be arranged.

There is also a farm shop and accommodation on site.
