This is a small, well managed coarse fishery close to Cavendish Dock at Barrow in Furness. Millbeck extends to one and half acres and holds good stocks of Carp, Tench, Bream, Rudd, Roach and Chub. The best Carp so far was a shade under 30lbs and there are some good specimens present. The odd trout also turns up now and again.

The site is well maintained and thoughtfully laid out with good walkways and fifteen well spaced pegs.

Millbeck is an excellent venue for young anglers or novices, who will find plenty of fish in the small pond adjacent to the main lake. The fishery also offers good access for disabled anglers. Night fishing is permitted by arrangement.
