Harrington is one of the favoured marks for cod over the winter months with November and December being the prime period. Bass show from May but its August before bigger fish put in an appearance. Flounder and dabs can be taken year round together with conger up to ten pounds.

Fish are caught anywhere along this section from right alongside the pier for hundreds of yards either side. Its rough ground fishing with odd patches of clean sand and usually best two hours either side of low tide.
